Apart from the full segment matching, CafeTran also searches translation memories for the smaller chunks of the currently-translated segment called fragments. If the translation memory contains such an exact entry with the fragment and its translation, the tool displays it in the tabbed pane of the translation memory. Exact fragments appear in the list of terms and fragments to be used in auto-assembling (press the F2 key) for their quick transfer to the target segment. You can also access them fast while typing in the target segment box as they are suggested automatically by the program.
