As your translation memory is getting bigger, it may contain the segments which are exactly the same as some segments in your current project. The project itself might be similar to some previous translation done in the past, another version of the source document, for example. At the start of the translation, insert all the exact matches that your translation memories find, into the target segments of the current project.
- Load one or more translation memories from Total Recall or TMX files.
- Choose the "Insert all exact matches" command in the Translate menu. Any found identical segments will be transfered from the working memory to your project target segments.
Then, If the project contains lots of exact matches, it is easy to filter out the untranslated, empty target segments through the menu Filter > Untranslated segments.
