In this type of workflow, it is recommended to apply the formatting (e.g. bold, italics and underline) after the export of the translated fragment when the translation is reviewed. Applications such as Ms Office and LibreOffice provide excellent formatting tools. You can format the translated text directly in CafeTran as well.

1. Select a phrase to be formatted in the target segment editor.
2. Right-click at the target segment editor.
3. Choose the appropriate format type (e.g. bold) from the context toolbar that pops up.
