I need to buy a new laptop as my old one has died. I would like to buy a MacBook with an M2 chip. However, when I look at the download options (https://www.cafetran.com/download-for-mac/) I can only see software for an M1 chip. Would that be compatible with an M2 laptop, or would it not run properly?
Many thanks in advance,
CafeTran is tested on Apple's M2 chip as well. There are no reported issues regarding this processor architecture. It works as well as on M1. Generally speaking, as long as Java platform is supported on any M chip machine, CafeTran should run there fine.
Great – many thanks for your help, Igor!
