Pane layout lost when switching between Project Templates

I have this Project Template for client ABC that has this arrangement:

I quit CafeTran Espresso and restart it. In the Dashboard I select the Test template, containing no resources at all. I work in my test project. I quit CafeTran Espresso.


In the Dashboard I select the previous project for ABC to continu my work.


All my resources are there, but the pane layout is gone.

Very irritating. Just created a tutorial using my Test template. Now that I return to paid work, I have to restore my work template.

Perhaps CafeTran Espresso should ask the user whether it is allowed to automatically change her templates?
