Wouldn't it be possible to eliminate the reason for having to reload the glossary? It would be way more convenient with less pointing and clicking.

Sometimes your Glossary gets out of sync and you have to reload it via the context menu.
Is there some way to signal via a visual indicator that you have to reload your glossary?
