New imported glossary not displaying accents properly

I created a tab-delimited text file (.txt) from an Excel glossary and tried to import it into CafeTran. Language pair is Spa>Eng. The glossary shows up in full, with language variant columns as should be. However, all accents in Spanish (á, é, í, ó, ú, ñ) show up with a question mark icon

and I can't figure out what configuration I need to change to fix this.

Appreciate suggestions!

Hi Alex,

The first place to start is, are you sure the .txt file you are using as a CafeTran glossary is in UTF-8 format? Open it in a decent text editor (I swear by EmEditor, but many people like Notepad++; hell, even Windows Notepad can now do it), and if it isn't, reave it as UTF-8. See if that fixes it!
