Create tab-delimited files from huge TMX files

You can use this free utility for that purpose.

Afterwards, open the tab-delimited files in a spreadsheet program and delete the unnecessary columns. Or use a command line tool to do this,

BTW: The tab-delimited file format has some advantages over TMX:

  • It's very compact.
  • You can easily remove/add columns.
  • You can easily remove duplicates, with or without changing the natural order of segments.
WfConverter is very fast and can process a batch of TMX files.

CafeTran Espresso's built-in Memory > Export segments to glossary is very slow and only allows one memory at a time.
