I'm investigating whether it's possible to replace tracked changes in SDLXLIFF with something that CafeTran Espresso can handle.

There are two types of tracked changes:

I add "added" and "deleted" to them as a test.

In CafeTran Espresso I search for:

And get:

That looks promising, doesn't it?

Of course the end of the added and deleted has to be displayed too, but that's something for later.

So, once this end has been made visible too:

{added}het{end}{deleted}de{end}

You could probably edit the added or deleted string in CafeTran Espresso to process the tracked changes.

Or doesn't CafeTran Espresso preserve the marking of the tracked changes? Probably it does, since Igor is careful not to destroy anything in sdlxliff.
