I am using CafeTran for an ongoing project translating subtitles. I want to learn how to best take advantage of the tool. Can anyone recommend a short training or a 1-2-1?
Thanks in advance.
There are at least two persons who offer online training sessions: email@example.com and:
See https://github.com/idimitriadis0/TheCafeTranFiles/wiki/6-Getting-comfortable for a good starting point
Also, from the developer: https://cafetran.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/folders/6000043038
For some reason my answer isn't visible.
Okay, let me recap:
There are options for paid online training by forum members and there is the Getting Started section in the Solutions: https://cafetran.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/folders/6000043038 and the Getting Comfortable section in the Ref Docs: https://github.com/idimitriadis0/TheCafeTranFiles/wiki/6-Getting-comfortable
That's great, thank you!
Not discouraging anyone from paid training, but I learned most of my Cafetran, by asking questions here, and poking around in the menus/options. Experience from other CAT tools also helped a bit.
I do use Cafetran more and more these days, coz I am increasingly fed up with Trados Studio. Right at the moment I am doing Studio files in Cafetran and will hop back to Studio for the QA. I like the dark theme in Cafetran.
