I think it is only a question of time. Initially, it should work via the Rosetta 2 software. However, as soon as Java programming language is ported to the new Apple Silicon (M1 chip) architecture, CafeTran should work there without Rosetta 2. The good news is that there is work going on porting Java to the new chip: http://openjdk.java.net/jeps/391

Hi, Is CafeTran going to work on the new silicon Macs with an M1 chip? I'm sorry if I've missed any news on this topic. My licence is due to be renewed and I'm toying with replacing my old Mac.
