Concordance results fuzziness

When I search memories for the word "reference", I also get results for "preferences". And there are many such examples. Is there a setting to refine search to only get relevant hits like "reference" or "references" (other than appending a space before the word)?

Whole words = Checkbox. Only return search results for whole words (those separated with spaces).

I have looked through all the menus and preferences, but cannot find it. Where is this setting located?
