You'll have select the Regular expression radio button:
Then search for: graduation? or for graduation?? or for graduation??? and so on.
Note that the search can be case-sensitive.
Thanks! So it seems like there's no way to get those results quickly while translating (without using Find and Replace). I guess the best way is to select only parts of words and then hit the TM source button – but even that slows things down especially when translating lists of words or similar very short segments. In those cases it would be helpful to see the list of fuzzy matches without needing to search for them manually.
By the way, it seems that at least Trados shows TM results for both singular and plural words while searching for plurals, so it might not be a bad feature to consider.
Just make sure that "Whole words" option is unchecked in the Find dialog. Then close the dialog, type gradu in the Search field and click TM source button.
I think that you have actually to perform one search via the dialogue box, to make any possibly changed setting 'stick'. Right?
Hi Igor! "Gradu" showed results from the beginning. The problem is that "graduations" shows nothing even though it's much closer to "graduation" than "gradu".
> Right?
It is enough to click OK closing the Find dialog.

In my opinion, it much more intuitive to type the shorter word in order to find the longer ones - not the other way around.
Then select the Prefix matching option in the Find dialog.

Greetings! Is there a setting to make it possible to match words that are x% (or x characters) longer than the word I'm searching for?
For example: I have translated several segments that have the word "graduation" in them. Concordance search – and by that I mean clicking the TM source button – shows all the results for "graduation", "graduat", "gradu" etc. but zero results for "graduations".
I really hope there is a box to tick to make this happen :)
