How to code \n as a hidden tag?

It would be nice to finally find a solution to code the \n expression (new line) in software strings as a hidden tag.

I don't know what might interfere in your case, but  your hidden tags expressions for newline and quotes work just fine regardless of  keeping those characters in the "Do not match" field in Preferences.

Thank you!

I'll investigate by resetting the preferences on my test Mac this weekend.
