QA non-translatables: make it respect word boundaries?

I have this 'issue' where I add non-translatables to my non-translatables glossaries that can be part of (longer) words in the source text.

E.g.: I add 'wing' to the non-translatables glossary (because of a brand name etc.) and have words like 'zwingend' false-flaggged:

I'm wondering: should QA non-translatables respect word boundaries? What would be the disadvantage if it does respect them?

BTW: there is this setting here:

But it looks like QA non-translatables doesn't respect this setting.
