Target segment > Adjust end punctuation eats closing bracket

The menu command:

Eats my closing brackets.

The command does what the its tooltip says. See that both source and target segments have exactly the same ending after the command has been run. The commands checks for ending brackets too. The check might be excluded, but it works fine with it in most cases where both segments end with brackets. Just don't run when it is unnecessary to run.

Well, it is necessary to run here, since a trailing space is missing in the translation ... I'd like to have that added, without the ) before the full stop being removed. Naughty CafeTran Espresso 10 Croissant ...

For goodness sake, please type the space instead of applying the complex shortcut. :)

>For goodness sake, please type the space instead of applying the complex shortcut. :)

This might seem trivial, but actually it is not. Two scenario's:

  1. During the translation stage, everything is inserted automatically perfectly, except for the trailing period. You either have to grab the mouse and click at the end of the segment, return to the keyboard and press SPACE. Or even more actions: do it by keyboard (go to end of segment while releasing the selection that exists in any new segment, press SPACE). Instead I prefer: ALT+UP, ALT+DOWN (I've assigned Adjust end punk to ALT+UP).
  2. During QA End punctuation, long ranges of missing spaces (especially in Transit projects, for no determinable reason). I cycle through them very quickly via: ALT+UP, ALT+DOWN.
So I'd be happy (even more happy than I already am!) if this could be fixed. (The fact that I describe it so meticulously, indicates that it is important to me ;) )

BTW: If I'm not mistaken, same issue exists with the " before period:

".

becomes

.SPACE
