> What should I see?
A duplicate (or rather a derived) entry in your glossary. Of course, there is no point of making an exact copy. You might wish to change something in the edited entry.
> nothing seems to happen.
The switch should happen if you have a glossary and a TM with enabled Fragments option activated.
Thanks for these improvements!
I'm having troubles to understand these two:
• Added "Clone" function to "Term Editor". It enables the creation of a new term based on the currently edited term.
It looks like nothing happens, when I click this button. What should I see?
• Holding the CTRL key while closing the "New Term" dialog switches to the "New fragment" dialog. The switch also works while closing the "New fragment" dialog.
I've set my TM segments and fragments memory. When I hold down the CTRL key, nothing seems to happen.
Any other Mac user that does see the intended behaviour?
I didn't evening notice that Vertical display hides the headers!
> Was this intended to be so?
There has been no such a change. You may have switched to the vertical display of terms where the header is not shown.
Thank you for the update. I've just noticed that dictionaries do not have any language header. Was this intended to be so?

Many thanks! Matchboard and glossary background colours too have changed, right? It's better now.

It works really nice, thanks!

I just finished a MemoQ project, and was about to create a post entry because it seems Notes cannot be removed in MemoQ packages (and probably mqxliff files as well) via the Task > Remove notes.
I've tested with the new build first (since the announcement states Notes have been tweaked on some xliff types), but I can confirm CT still won't remove Notes on MemoQ projects via the Task menu. I can tell you, it's a pain when you have to rinse and repeat 77 times...
I've also noticed the Pink notes background has been replaced by a Green one. Nice touch!
Where do I change the color background for the glossary pane for shade alternate rows? I'll try to use this green color there as well. :-)

Yes, right.
Next issue: The buttons in the "List words with unknown spelling" tab
This is the look on Mac (with the new update they are visible now)
The fact that we users of a software program can have direct interaction with its developer, is a rare and great feature.
Hard work to convince you, though you should take "he won't do such a stupid thing" as a compliment.

Thanks for the feedback!

I didn't expect it but that's okay. :)
The latest build (2018092701) makes ignoring short upper-case acronyms optional in Preferences > QA tab. Other improvements:
- An option to set the maximal length of the upper case acronyms to skip during spell checking.
- Task > List of words with unknown spelling: the buttons in the list have two functions now - click to add the word to the spell checker dictionary or hold CTRL key + click to search the misspelled word in target segments.
- Change of the glossary Prefix matching option in Preferences > Glossary tab causes the automatic reload of the glossaries.
- Saving notes in external .xliff or .xlf files that follow XLIFF 1.2 specification.
> Doesn't QA > Check spelling in targets segments do the job?
No. The 'List words with unknown spelling' works much faster, as it shows errors only once (very handy e.g. in case of names or words with many occurrences and that you do not want to retain in any list - just imagine a text with 10 K words and 100 occurrences of such a name or a given term) and side by side (e.g. to find a wrongly spelled name). Unfortunately this feature is actually broken.
> Sometimes, I wish to review the unknown spelling in context before deciding what to do.
List words with unknown spelling > mark word > Search with Strg-F3
Unfortunately, when marking the word sometimes the paragraph mark is being copied as a kind of character into the search bar, so that the search returns no results (this has already been reported longer ago)
