Those 'Rs" let your reviewer see which segments you checked/reviewed. The reviewer can also set R mark or remove the R mark in the bilingual document. Then, after importing to CafeTran, such segments will be highlighted as checked (or set back to unchecked) as well.

Hi Igor,
Are those little ‘Rs’ in bilingual docs still used for something? I sent my client a bilingual doc today, they made a few changes, and I then imported this document into my CT project. I didn't touch the little ‘Rs’ at all, and yet everything seems to have been incorporated into my project correctly? Including a few notes I added to the Note field of a few segments.
