>could locked segment status please be saved to the project and not depend on CafeTran session? Are you referring to Studio projects? If so, CafeTran Espresso 2018 will not touch their Locked statuses, for data integrity reasons.
Right-click in the source box, and select Lock/Unlock.
Yes, I think I asked Igor for that recently too: Filter > Status > Locked segments
Locked status is saved after a restart of CafeTran, in non-Studio projects.

No Aly, I'm referring to native CafeTran projects. I use the lock feature for a variety of reasons, namely to lock empty target segments that I want to keep that way.
Michael, what is the "source box"? The segment editor? Once a segment is locked, it's impossible to reach it, so...?
Oops, yes, that's true. To reach the locked segment after locking it, you need to temporarily (or permanently) switch off: Action > Skip > Locked segments
Sorry that wasn't very clear: by ‘source box’ I meant the source pane of the segment editor.
Oh my, why did I forget that? ah ah

I'm almost sure there's a super cool way to do this that I haven't noticed yet, but…
How exactly does one unlock ONE specific segment (e.g. a segment locked by mistake?)
Also, how can I see all locked segments in a project? For instance, why no "Filter > Status > Locked segments" feature?
Third idea, could locked segment status please be saved to the project and not depend on CafeTran session? I sometimes close CafeTran by mistake OR it gets closed by a crash OR I have to close it because of a duplicate/asterisk tabbed panel or other minor issue.
Thanks!
