I also noticed that since the red-framed source and target segments started to appear I cannot save the imported SDL TM anymore.
Hello Mario,
This was introduced in CafeTran Espresso 2018 Akua Update 6
- https://cafetran.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/6000054033
What's new:
Thank you Jean,
I just wonder if red is an appropriate colour to confirm that "everything is OK". Red is usually a warning colour, and all those red segments just raise an instinctive concern. Perhaps only, let's say, one border of the cells can be made red-coloured?
Jean: SDLTM memories are imported as TMXmemories in CafeTran. I think they are in read-only mode by default (you can choose at the start).
Here I have another question: yesterday, when I did my first Studio project I imported the SDLTM memory with the "Import SDL memory" command. This is a very nice implementation, for the process is very straightforward and fast. But, when I quit CafeTran and then I reopened it the imported SDLTM was gone, and it was necessary to repeat the import process. I tried to see whether there are specific settings to change this behaviour, but I found none.
I will also check whether I can make the imported SDLTM memories writeable too.

I have just done my first sdlxliff project (not package), and (I don't remember exactly after doing what) at the end of the translation all source and target segments appeared in red frames like in the attached picture.
In what occasion should this type of visualization appear?
Also—I may have already asked this but I can't remember—why do I have both "Project glossary" and "ProjectTerms" in the dashboard? In my case, ProjectTerms contains the Lexicon that I have exported from DVX, and I had to add it manually.
