How can I create a generic glossary of any of my language combinations?

I advise you to start with a project glossary that you have already created for this language combination.

Open it in a text editor, make any necessary changes and save it under a new file name at a permanent location on your harddisk (preferably in your Dropbox folder).

Add it via the Glossary menu, as shown in the video.

Once you have added the generic glossary to CafeTran, you can choose it later directly via the Glossary menu or by checking it on the CafeTran Dashboard.

The preferred and sensible way would be to open it in or as a TMX file, with all the benefits those TMX files have I already mentioned.

Using TMX files is CafeTran's original way. That was, before you copulated it up.
