Get translation from DeepL via keyboard shortcut

Here's a Keyboard Maestro macro to get the translation of the current segment from DeepL by pressing CTRL+ALT+D (ˆ⌥D).

Note that you sometimes have to press the keyboard shortcut twice (e.g. in the last segment). Perhaps this can be improved by changing the timing.

This morning I took the plunge and updated my working Mac to Java 8 update 152:

Always a little scaring to do so, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.


The update was necessary, in order to use DeepL. Now that I'm able to use it on the working computer, I want to use it for every segment. So I created this simple Keyboard Maestro macro that opens the next segment to translate, and them queries DeepL (it's launched by pressing OPTION+DOWN):
