Importing SDLXLIFF files into existing memory

 Hello:

1. how can I open a memory in Cafetran without having to search for it and dropping it on the dashboard? I would like to go to files and then choose my memory.

What really confuses me is that I have the setting edit a tmx memory but then can't open it.

2. How do I import a SDLXLIFF file into an existing memory? I assume the memory should be open.

Thank you for your help again

Nicolette

Do you want to add it to a translation project or do you want to edit the memory? I'll make a quick movie of both tasks ...

TM edit, import Studio TM and merge with CT TM

  • First, edit a TM in TMX edit mode.
  • Then, assign a CafeTran TM to a project.
  • Last, import a Studio TM, save it as a CafeTran TM, merge it with another CafeTran TM.

One thing that I've forgotten: When importing the Studio TM, you should remove the internal tags:

Click on the Filter button.

Check the Remove internal tags box.
