Thanks a lot! I just renamed the "CafeTran and TM-Town" forum to "CafeTran, ProZ.com and TM-Town".
Igor
I could'nt find a more appropriate section, so here it is:
I've used the ProZ Kudoz system to ask two questions through CafeTran this morning and I just want to say how nice the implementation is. I have even been notified that the question has been answered.
Hats off!
Thank you Igor for these two additions!
> Would it be possible to make CafeTran bring the joined TM tab to the fore if the search is present in at least one TM?
The new build (2017082901) of update 20 is available. The TM tab should be selected during the manual search even when it contains more (joined) TMs. Also, double-clicking on an auto-completion phrase inserts the phrase into the target segment editor. Please download and apply the update 20 again as described in the announcement post above.
Indeed, a double left click is needed.
> When I right-click
Please left-click, and make sure your resource is editable (not read-only).
When I hover over the yellow link, a grid pops up. When I right-click on the yellow link, I get a menu, but no edit option. What am I doing wrong? And yes, I did update Cafetran and checked that I indeed did so.
Hello Igor,
I have now been able to reproduce this with two different projects (one native CT and one Trados package) and further isolate the issue.
If the TM tabs are not joined (lets assume there are more than one opened), when I search for a word or text that is present in a specific TM, CafeTran shows the specific TM (it brings the tab to the fore), as expected.
If I join two TMs and conduct a search that is present in both TMs, the joined TMs tab is correctly brought to the fore.
The issue seems to occur when at least one of the joined TMs does not contain the searched word or text.
Would it be possible to make CafeTran bring the joined TM tab to the fore if the search is present in at least one TM?
> Sorry, I meant not docked.
I can't reproduce it yet. Note that the manual search needs to give some results to select the TM tab with them.
> (but undocked)
Do you mean "not docked" or floating in a separate window?
Automatic switching to the TM tab containing the result of the manual search in the translation memory.
I have all TMs joined together (but undocked), and searching TM source or TM target does not display the TM tab when I have another tab focused.
Am I missing something?
If not, would it be possible to implement (or reimplement) this?
> Has the tooltip content display been removed from the Matchboard?
The tooltips are still there. Hover the mouse over the yellow link next to the match. Note that glossary terms need to have some additional fields to make the tooltip show up.
> Does filtering on Notes also allow filtering on Studio comments?
Yes, it does.

Hello,
CafeTran Espresso 2017 Yeddi update 20 is available for download. The update can be performed via the Drag & Drop procedure as follows:
1. Run CafeTran.
2. Download 20170824_update.zip file from here (do not unzip or rename the file after downloading) and place it on your desktop.
Note: On Mac OSX, the Safari web browser may unzip the file automatically after downloading. To prevent this, just use the right-click menu and choose the "Download Linked File" command.
3. Drag and drop the downloaded file into the Project Dashboard and restart the program.
Alternatively, you can install the update via the Update button in the Help > About panel instead of dragging and dropping.
