Hi,

CafeTran Espresso 2017 Yeddi update 8 is available for download. The update can be performed via the Drag & Drop procedure as follows:

1. Run CafeTran.

2. Download 20170426_update.zip file from here (do not unzip or rename the file after downloading) and place it on your desktop.

Note: On Mac OSX, the Safari web browser may unzip the file automatically after downloading. To prevent this, just use the right-click menu and choose the "Download Linked File" command.

3. Drag and drop the downloaded file into the Project Dashboard and restart the program.

Alternatively, you can install the update via the Update button in the Help > About panel instead of dragging and dropping.

What's new:

• Switch to the new Google Cloud Translation API which uses the neural machine translation model.
• Navigation between documents in the glue mode. See the "Documents" button in the grid toolbar.
• Fixed the punctuation issue when recalling segments from Total Recall table. The issue appeared after the user cleared the "Do not match" field in Memory preferences.

Hi Wojciech,

Go to Edit > Preferences > Keyboard shortcuts and change or disable the shortcut "Merge adjacent tags".

The new build (2017042703) of update 8 is available. It makes the keyboard shortcuts for merging and hiding tags undetermined by default as they caused issues with typing some international characters. The user can set them in Preferences > Keyboard shortcuts tab. The build does not change your existing (already set before) shortcuts for the two actions.

> It would be nice if the word list could be saved as a file so as to send it to the client for commenting.

After you click "Finish mouse selection recording", "Selected words" tab appears. Then choose Resources > Save resource to save the list of selected words to the text file.
