First term of every new segment isn't recognised here anymore.
In a segment like this:
I add 'Greiferkraft=grijperkracht'. I go one segment back and forward: 'Greiferkraft=grijperkracht' is displayed in the glossary pane.
I add 'der Greiferkraft=van de grijperkracht'. I go one segment back and forward: 'der Greiferkraft=van de grijperkracht' is displayed in the glossary pane.
I add 'Einstellen der Greiferkraft=instellen van de grijperkracht'. I go one segment back and forward:
only this is displayed:
There seems to be an issue with the first term of a segment. Or am I missing some new setting?
Okay, it's the source file: they seem to use Unicode Character 'IDEOGRAPHIC SPACE' (U+3000) after the chapter titles. Added that character here:
It's good you figured it out!
Yeah, it's always fun when you start a new project, obviously generated in a different way with some special client software, and this coincides with a new build of your software :).
Happily translating as ever, again.
And here are some images (image is everything):

A feature broken in this update?
Update 18 brought:
- Ability to add untranslatable terms/phrases to glossaries. CafeTran recognizes untranslatables phrases in the glossary when it is preceded by ! character. For example:
!NASA
Since the above term can be untranslatable, you don't provide its translation in the glossary.
My glossary includes:
palette -> palet
!Paris
particularly -> özellikle
However, the suggestion given for Parisian is palet in the Matchboard.
Tested it for for some other terms. For terms starting with an exclamation mark and with no translation, CafeTran always offers the translation of the previous term.
Kind regards,
Selcuk

This is also great. Always had issues with automatic insertion of EMs and CMs in projects. Seems to be solved now. Holding my breath.

I still don't understand what this is all about. How and when am I supposed to feel the effects?

With large translation memories set in the Automatic mode, when you navigated between the segments very fast, the match results might arrive with some delay after you moved to the next segments. This resulted in showing the matches still for the previous segment when you actually were already at the next segment. This is improved now. Nonetheless, I recommend using the Preliminary memory matching with large TMs to avoid any delays at all.
Based on your immediate feedback, I pushed a few changes to the last update 21:
- the segment parser changes dynamically when it detects the change from CJK source language to a language with the word separator.
- the spell checker gets deactivated when the user switches to a target language with no spell-checking dictionary available for it.
- the actual name of the new memory is shown (instead of "New TM") when creating it in the Dashboard.
Instead of waiting for the next update, you can just reapply the same update 21.
Thanks!
Igor

Hi,
CafeTran Espresso 2016 Ichiro - Update 21 is available for download. The update can be performed via the Drag & Drop procedure as follows:
1. Run CafeTran.
2. Download 20161017_update.zip file from here (do not unzip or rename the file after downloading) and place it on your desktop.
Note: On Mac OSX, the Safari web browser may unzip the file automatically after downloading. To prevent this, just use the right-click menu and choose the "Download Linked File" command.
3. Drag and drop the downloaded file into the Project Dashboard and restart the program.
4. Drag and drop the downloaded file into the Project Dashboard and restart the program. Second time!
The step 4 above is only for the users who missed the preview (Harbinger) and Ichiro updates with the new icon sets.
On Mac OS X, the Java 1.8.0_77 update broke the drag and drop function in CafeTran. The fix is available starting from CafeTran's Update 4. If you skipped all the updates from 4 to 20, please choose the downloaded update file via the Help > About > Install Update button instead of dragging and dropping it into the Project Dashboard.
What's new:
This update fixes mainly some reported visual issues and improves a few features:
1. Consistent tags size.
2. Less bright Matchboard colors.
3. Choice between the horizontal and vertical divider when joining tabs in the View > Tabs menu. The horizontal divider is the default one.
4. Improved synchronization between the current segment and its auto-assembling result to avoid timing issues with large memories set in the Automatic mode.
5. Total Recall can function in the Clipboard workflow.
6. In the "Paper/Image document" workflow, the selected Total Recall memory tables open for searching automatically.
7. Added "Hide source segment tags" keyboard shortcut in the Action > Tags menu to toggle tags display (already present in update 20 but not announced there).
Have a nice week!
Igor
