I have one big translation memory with all my translation projects in (Claire's TM). Since I created this, I don't click on Project TM for each project as well - just Claire's TM. I just wondered whether it was advisable to do both (click Claire's TM and Project TM)?

I ask this as I watched a video on how to put the Project TM into Total Recall. I putting Project TM into total recall the same as putting everything into one memory (like Claire's TM)?

That's exactly what I used to do, even before I started using CT.

I think it is. Times have changed. I now use the ProjectTM, and I even assigned the highest priority to it. The two main reasons:

• The Big Mama became too large. Since Recall Segments, it's way faster to use the TM generated by Total Recall. At the end of your translation you can/should export a TM for the project, and import it in the database.
• CT offers QA, and I use the ProjectTM for that purpose. I even add fragments and words to it for consistency reasons.
