Bug report: numbers transferred to target segment are incorrect

 Hi Igor,

Unless I've got a setting wrong again, I appear to have found a minor bug:

I'm translating a German into English. The file makes frequent reference to section headings by number. When transferred to the target segment these numbers are incorrect. E.g. 1.3 becomes 133, 1.2.1 becomes 121.1.

(German of course uses a comma as a decimal separator and point as a thousand separator, but that doesn't explain this behaviour.)

Cafetran should recognise that this isn't a valid number format given the source language separators and transfer it without altering it.

Cheers,

Jeremy

Yes, the next update will check for the presence of a decimal separator for the given source language number. Thanks for pointing it out!

Cheers,

Igor

Hey Igor,

just a note on this - this works correctly with insert placeable (? that may not be offical CafeTran terminology - F4; 1.2.1 is transferred as 1.2.1) - it's only with autoassembly that it gets it wrong.

Cheers,
Jeremy

These numbers are also displayed incorrectly in the source segment on the translation memory tab. (Though as far as I can quickly ascertain, it appears to be correctly stored in the TM.)
