Soul over Logic

What you have to say?

To native English speakers,

I've been wondering for over a century (or far less) what are the differences among soul, mind, spirit.

"Soul" can be soul food, "spirit" can mean alcohol. Mind? Don't mind all of these?

Soul is deeply rooted in the earth, while spirit wants to go up (to where)?

I'm sober now.

Hi Masato,

I am not a native speaker of English but a distinction between the three words exists in Polish too.

Mind is associated with thinking, Soul has something to do with feeling and Spirit might be a synonym of will and/or attitude. Of course, there are personal interpretations and shades of those meanings (e.i, the religious or sensual aspect of soul).

Hmm, difficult
