When updating, I get the following error.
Some time ago I had deleted any res file from there I did to need. How can I access the Linguee feature now?

You may have deleted the Examples folder as well. You can create that Examples folder manually or copy the Linugee res files from update zip to the package manually as well.

The Ichiro version is updated with the following:
- The UTF-8 encoding header is added to the generated keyboard shortcuts html file.
- The currently-translated document can be exported individually even when in glue mode.
- Added the IATE web resource ((http://iate.europa.eu), English -> Polish as an example, to Resources > Web > Examples.
- Fixed an issue with the new web resource creation.
You can repeat the drag and drop update procedure as described at the start of this thread.

Exactly, and that's why it's rendered in the default encoding, rather than in UTF-8.

My dear Ichiro does not show a list of non-translatables (F4) for the following source (Studio project).
Is this related to preceding tags?

Please make sure that View > Show resources menu is selected if you wish to use this function. Non-translatables are in the Resources menu.
Yes it does, because the keyboard shortcuts work only if the corresponding menus are enabled.

They are. Although frequently stated otherwise, CafeTran just isn't a "good Mac citizen." Most serious problems seem to occur in the Mac version. Don't get me started.
However, displaying the KBS isn't one of them. I've been able to call them for ages, with one long key press, no need to open a browser:
But then again, that's not a CafeTran feature.

For the 2016 Ichiro version, I am not aware of any serious issues on Mac specifically. CafeTran on Mac functions the same as on Windows and Linux thanks to Java universality. The display of special characters in keyboard shortcuts in the web browser will be checked but it seems to be related to some encoding or font settings in the web browser. If you detect any issue in the latest version, please submit a ticket describing it or report it the dedicated section on the forum.

Of course it's a matter of encoding:
You'll have to switch the encoding from Default (Western ISO Latin 1) to UTF-8. I don't think many people are prepared to do that. Not permanently as everything works fine in the default mode, not for the cafeTran KBS only.

The text encoding in my Safari (El Capi) is set to "Standard" (maybe that's the default, I assume in reality it is UTF-8), and there is no issue with the display. Western ISO Latin 1 is not necessarily the default, especially for users outside the Western culture...
There might always be users that have set to one of the dozens other settings. How would you like to handle them? The only chances are:
- to integrate a header with encoding information (but maybe in some browsers the browser "overrides" this setting)
- to use symbols/images that have been integrated in the CT package
- to show a hint (but maybe this is too technical/complicated for many users).
I suppose the text encoding is governed by the OS settings, which makes it likely that non-OS X apps render the wrong encoding. Igor says "CafeTran on Mac functions the same as on Windows and Linux thanks to Java universality," which is true, of course. But we don't stay in the Java framework all the time. We sometimes need apps like the browser, a text editor, a database. And that's where Java apps in the various operating systems can go in the wrong.

Hello everyone,
CafeTran Espresso 2016 Ichiro version is available for download. The users who purchased the program after 22 April 2015, in the new licensing system, do not have to install it anew. They can update it via a simple drag and drop procedure as follows:
1. Run CafeTran.
2. Download 20160119_update.zip file from here (do not unzip or rename the file after downloading) and place it on your desktop.
Note: On Mac OSX, the Safari web browser may unzip the file automatically after downloading. To prevent this, just use the right-click menu and choose the "Download Linked File" command.
3. Drag and drop the downloaded file into the Project Dashboard and restart the program.
4. Drag and drop the downloaded file into the Project Dashboard and restart the program. Second time!
The step 4 above is only for users who missed the preview (Harbinger) updates with the new icon sets.
The Ichiro update improves the previous Harbinger version in the following aspects:
- localization of numbers during automatic propagation.
- access to linguee.com resources directly from CafeTran web resources interface.
- support for Crowdin xliff files.
- viewing alphabetically-sorted keyboard shortcuts in a web browser for easy reference and printing.
- simplifying the creation of new glossaries.
This 2016 version of CafeTran is the summary of all the improvements, changes and fixes made last year and in the recent preview version. All this would be impossible without your excellent feedback. Thanks a lot!
