For quite a lot of tasks, a means for length comparison or verification would be very welcome. Assuming that a glossary of 1 million of lines can be loaded in the grid (without splitting it first, which wouldn't be a drama but extra work), it would be sufficient if the length comparison or verification would work on the segments visible in the grids (TMX segments, project segments, glossary entries etc.).

Filtering on segments that differ 10 %, 20 % etc. in length would be very useful to quickly spot alignment errors, project segments that don't stick to any existing length restriction, glossary entries where source or target is significantly longer, indicating that one side is missing something.
