These gestures are customizable:
Magic Mouse:
Touchpad:
Since the mouse is my secondary input device, right after my keyboard, it's ... important to me.
Took me some time to get used to the Magic Mouse (first generation). When I stopped using Parallels, I noticed that the extreme sensitivity that I had experienced (one tiny touch on the mouse service and Word would scroll 80 pages etc.) had gone. Since then I got used to the MM.
Now I have the MM2. What I found a little disappointing from Apple was this:
How ugly/weird.
BTW: I'll take the opportunity of buying the MM2 to revisit the BetterTouchTool. Let me see which useful keyboard shortcuts of CafeTran I can program to the mouse. To be cont.
Oops, it has a completely different click feeling. Will take me some time to get used to that. I need more force to click.

Treated myself to a Magic Mouse 2, since the MM1 with its reloadable batteries constantly disconnected when the power was getting low. Apple batteries didn't really fully reload. :(
