Find & Replace and special characters (Sonderzeichen)

I just noted that there is an issue in the Find & Replace dialogue:

Looking e.g. for "häng" finds "hängen", but not "HÄNGEN"

Looking e.g. for "höhe" finds "höhe", but not "HÖHE"

Same in other languages

Looking e.g. for "módul" finds "módulo", but not "MÓDULO"

Looking e.g. for "MÓDUL" finds "MÓDULO", but not "modulo"

The check box "Match case" in all cases not checked, tried out with the last edition (Harbinger).

Perhaps. It's not a tragedy, I'm "just asking". He who doesn't ask ever, will never learn.

Hans CafeTran Wiki: I would be interested to learn, how such errors happen

Features. Adding more features. Adding even more features. Every fart shall be implemented. Until it stinks.

I would be interested to learn, how such errors happen. I'm also wondering why a fix is presented that then doesn't work under OS X initially.

I am pretty sure this has been introduced lately.

I'm still wondering: was this error a behaviour that has always been in CafeTran and I didn't notice, or has it been introduced lately?

>Isn't there any "Franz jagt im verwahrlosten Taxi quer durch Bayern"-sentence for all those?

Damned, you have cracked my code.

Well, Umlaute are still the smaller portion of potentially concerned letters, just think of all these tildes, circumflexes, accents, dashes and whatsoever of our Romance, Slavic and Scandinavian colleagues.

Isn't there any "Franz jagt im verwahrlosten Taxi quer durch Bayern"-sentence for all those?

Though I wouldn't call the Umlaut characters 'Sonderzeichen' ;). Extended ASCII/ANSI set, yep, but very basic indeed.

Yes, this is indeed broken now.

I'll try to verify this... [One moment please, please hold the line.]
