How to easily return to the last translated segment in SDLXLIFF?

A translator was translating a large SDLXLIFF project. Then a rush job came in and he had to translate an SDLPPX.
After that the original SDLXLIFF project is opened again (tick TM in Dashboard, select glossaries, in the project selector go one project down, click Open).
CafeTran didn't remember the position of the last edited segment. How can the translator easily return to the last edited/the first empty segment?
(Filtering on empty segments won't do any good here, since when unfaltering, the cursor returns to the very first segment.)
