I don't really get what you are talking about. If you want someone to understand this, and maybe comment, you are going to have to communicate, rather than speak in clipped, cryptic bullet points.

OK, that's nice. As long as it is clear to you. That's what counts in healthy communication, right, that one side knows what is going on. It's the perfect recipe for total understanding on b̶o̶t̶h̶ one side.

To make things clear for the verbally handicapped, here's an example featuring the .docx file "Jansen+Jansen" in everybody's favourite file format, GIF.

Hans CafeTran Wiki: Must be fixed of course.
It's not a disaster, not if you know it can happen. Which is why I mentioned it here.

I don't know which of the following is undeniably (in)correct, but since my latest disaster [What disaster?], I'd suggest:
Do not revert back to a previous version of CT. Never. [Why not?] Even though the current one cannot handle a job, and a previous could. I did this several times before, but apparently you shouldn't [Who said so?] (anymore) [Was it previously possible/advised, but something changed, so it is now lo longer possible/advised?]
Do not import your exported Options settings. I did this several times before, but apparently you shouldn't [who said so] (anymore) [Was it previously possible/advised, but something changed, so it is now lo longer possible/advised?]. Set them manually again [Why?]
Watch out for what you drop on the DashBoard. If it contains "abnormal" characters in the file name (the "+" in my case), import the file manually. Not very "Mac," but so be it [Sounds logical to me.]

Good. Keep it that way.

MB: Good. Keep it that way.
Now that actually is a good one. You're learning! A bit slow perhaps, but still.
