FreshDesk?

Are we sure we want FreshDesk at all? There seem to be several problems associated with it, like no way to edit posts only to delete them, no way of quickly finding out the new posts, and for reasons unknown to me yet, I can't copy/paste anymore.

Yes Discourse was my advice too. At that time.

It "even" has a button to show the latest postings.

Every other day, I have to change my name from "woorden" to "Hans van den Broek". Freshdesk stinks. It's no good in ALL aspects.

Hi Alain,

You may get logged in to the forum via your cafetran.com account. Have you tried logging out from there too?

It's far from ideal. But for me it's a little better than the old Yahoo Group.

Can you paste in a message? This, I have to admit, is a perfectly new FreshDesk feature, but if I try, my message is gone, irrevocably gone.

I paste this:

Pasting works here too. Watch:

However, I agree that this forum software is far from ideal.

What I really miss is the ability to reply to specific posts, rather than just put it at the very bottom of the whole thread.

And as Hans mentioned, there's no way to see the latest posts (!!!). The section called "Popular topics" at the top right, is useless.

No problems anymore here either. Didn't know you had to restart websites every once in a while...

Just doing a test, I have been unable to connect to the forum for a while, then I got access but only in reading mode. So I'll click on "Posts comment" and see what happens...

MB: And as Hans mentioned

The trouble err, is, that I always seem to have to report the err, trouble. Gives me a bad reputation...

H.

Back to  life, hurrah!

MB (in another thread): Instead of editing my post, I usually just delete and repost it, corrected. Not ideal, but it gets the job done.

Yes, but that will trigger extra e-mail messages with sounds and things, and as you know very well, I don't want to annoy people.
