After having read a posting about at Proz, I was wondering:
How good is CafeTran's word count for Thai?
CafeTran's word count for Thai does not work too.
From around 700 words shown in MS Word, CT shows only 217 words.
I haven't translated from Thai to English in CT for quite a long time, mainly because most of them are small projects (mostly not more than 5 pages) and are in badly scanned pdf files, and it is a pain OCRing Thai texts, even in Abbyy Finereader 11.
Also, I take less and less Thai to English jobs nowadays.
By the way, talking about Thai, Terminology Verifier in Studio 2014 does not work for Thai AT ALL (the target terms are there, but Studio shows that there is none), unlike CT...
