[SDLPPX] "The target language is missing for this SDLXLIFF file..."

What to do?

I opened it in Studio and it seemed the language had been assigned before.

I even translated some segments in Studio, and tried to opened it again in CT. But this does not work.

The SDLXLIFF files extracted by CT cannot be opened either.

Hello Kwang,

Have you presegmented the file in Studio?

Open the SDLXLIFF file in Studio.

Right-click the file in the source language view.

Click Prepare.

Save the SDLXLIFF.

Igor

Hi Igor,

It works. Thank you!

Kwang

Can someone maybe post a screenshot of how to do:

"Right-click the file in the source language view.

Click Prepare."

???

Hi Michael,

To be honest, I did not follow that ><

At that time, I presegmented by pseudo-translating. It was the first time I pseudo-translated in Studio too (just wanted to see what it looks like, and it worked...)

I think Copy all Source to Target in Studio should work too.

Kwang

Thanks, will try those!

I also read:

"Open the SDLXLIFF file in Studio.

Right-click the file in the source language view.

Click Prepare. "

on one of the SDL help websites, but for the life of me can't find anything like it in Studio 2014 or 2015 ...

Michael

I couldn't find it in Studio 2014 too! I didn't even know where is Souce Language View… Kwang
