New update available

Hello everyone,

The update to CafeTran Espresso 2015 is available for download. The users who purchased the program after 22 April 2015, in the new licensing system, do not have to install it anew. They can update it via a simple drag and drop procedure as follows:

1. Run CafeTran.
2. Download Cafetran.jar file from here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/56031844/Cafetran.jar (do not rename the file after downloading) and place it on your desktop.
3. Drag and drop the downloaded file to the Project Dashboard and restart the program.
4. Go to CafeTran's menu Help > About and check the current version which is: CafeTran Espresso 2015063001

Here's just a little tip for those who have maximised their CafeTran window (and for whom Drag & Drop is therefore not so convenient): The update can also be installed by choosing "Help - About" and then clicking on "Install Update".

Youpieeeeee ! Great, will do. Thanks Igor.

@Hans: Can't remember, but CT is no fishy April joke.

Hi Wolfgang,

Since you received a license file in the new licensing system, you can update your installation to the latest version via drag and drop of the downloaded Cafetran.jar file.

Igor

Was it on April 1?

Hi

I'm lost here. I first bought CT years ago, so I licensed way before April 22. So what am I supposed to do to upgrade?

Wolfgang

Hello Eugen,

You purchased the license before 22 April. In this case, I will contact you to assist in the switch to the new licensing system.

Forgot to mention that I reverted back to my earlier version (2015033102) by copying CafeTran.app from a clone disk. Seems to work OK. And then I repeated the update process - same symptoms.

Igor, I just tried to install this update, got the message about "update OK, restart CafeTran", but now CT just won't start; it fails silently after a few seconds.

Can you give me a hint on how to solve this - apart from deinstalling?

Can you make these links clickable next time?

(Yes I'm lazy.)
